In 1941 she was owned by Howe Sound Fisheries. At the start of the Second World War she was seized from Japanese owners for service with the Royal Canadian Navy. At the time her appraised value was $16,400. In 1942 she was commissioned into the Royal Canadian Navy Fisherman's Reserve. In 1942 her ownership was transferred to His Majesty the King. In 1946-1972 she was owned by Nelson Brothers Fisheries Ltd., Vancouver BC. In 1973-1986 she was owned by British Columbia Packers Ltd., Richmond BC. In 1987-1995 she was owned by Brian D. Assu, Campbell River BC. In 1997-2019 she was owned by Stanley E. Hunt, Alert Bay BC.

In 1941 her appraised value was $16,400. In 1941 this vessel was commissioned into the Royal Canadian Navy Fisherman's Reserve. In 1942 this vessel was a tender to HMCS Givenchy. In 1943 this vessel was a tender to HMCS Givenchy II. In 1944 this vessel was a tender to HMCS Chatham. At the end of the Second World War this vessel was laid up in the ship boneyard at Bedwell Bay in Indian Arm BC.
