Anecdotes
On August 19, 1914 this vesselwent ashore on Butterworth Rocks. On June 23, 1920 this vesselgrounded in Victoria Harbour BC. On April 1, 1925 this vessel was lying off San Francisco when this vesselfouled the Pacific undersea cable, breaking communications with the orient. this vessel was sued for damages by the Commercial Cable Company but her owners avoided payment by transferring her ownership to a dummy company. In 1935 this vessel was renamed as J.R. Morgan a rumrunner mother ship converted to a tug. In 1935 this vessel was aground on Lasqueti Island BC. In c1940 this vessel was used for towing Davis Rafts across Hecate Strait. In 1949c this vessel was converted to a non-powered barge. On May 19, 1950 this vessel sank off Perez Rock, Estevan Point BC (Vancouver Island BC- 48 degrees 20'N & 126 degrees 35'W.)
