Anecdotes
The Victoria Colonist May 27, 1931 reported that the Rio Bonito under charter to Charles de Ganahl of New York travelling to Alaska and had struck a rock and had to undergo repairs in Prince Rupert BC. Later, in 1932, A.M. Dollar became bankrupt and committed suicide and his Father Robert Dollar died shortly afterwards.
