Anecdotes
In 1941 this vessel was seized from her Japanese owners by the Canadian Government. In 1942 her ownership transferred to His Majesty the King. In 1943-1944 this vessel was tender to H.M.C.S. Givenchy II. In 1942 this vesselhad Mk. V minesweeping gear installed. After the Second World War this vessel was placed in the ship boneyard at Bedwell Bay BC. In 1983 this vessel sank.
