In 1941 this vessel was seized from her Japanese owners by the Canadian Government. this vessel was requisitioned as a Fishermen’s Reserve Vessel, but was used as a Harbour Craft at the Degaussing Range at Esquimalt. This vessel is often shown named Y.M.N.W. 2650 but this is incorrect. this vessel was employed by the RCN at the Degaussing Range at Esquimalt BC. |
