He was living in Bridgetown NS at the time of his recruitment. He graduated from Acadia University in Wildlife Biology. After his naval service he was appointed as the the Chief Park Naturalist at Jasper National Park. He was appointed as the Park Superintendent of Kootenay National Park. He was the Superintendent of Elk Island National Park. He was appointed as the A/Superintendent at Jasper National Park. After his retirement he moved to Windermere BC and operates (2015) a landscaping business. |

He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) (Acadia University) 1960. He served in HMCS Cornwallis for Training 1961-1963. (He was released.) |
