He was appointed as a Midshipman RN. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RN (Seconded to the RAF), RAF Hornchurch for #222 RAF Squadron 1940. He served in RAF North Weald for 46 RAF Squadron (for Battle of Britain service) 1940. Killed in action in the Battle of Britain 08/09/1940. |
