Glenys Stuart (Email to Nauticapedia 25/10/2024) stated "my father, John Stuart built, the Glenys Mary, Registry # 313725. I have some information you can add to your ship details including this photograph. The place you have listed built as North Vancouver should be Vancouver where Belair shipyards was located. An unusual design for the west coast, more practical for a lake boat! The plans were for an Inland Clipper of Mason design in Seattle. It had a 2 cylinder Lister diesel. My parents and I lived on the boat for several years, first at Georgia Marina beside Stanley Park and then in Richmond at the Airport Yacht Club when it was on Sea Island. My father had the hull built and finished off the rest himself. " |
