Anecdotes
This vessel was put in service to replace the Dorkathlon, which sank in 192. This vessel was said to have once been a rumrunner while owned by General Navigation Co. of Canada Ltd. (Miles, Fraser (1992)). This vessel was fitted with a derrick for transferring cargo. On January 24, 1947 this vessel was stranded at Port Renfrew BC.
