Margo McDonald (Email to Nauticapedia 27/11/2023) stated "In 1986 I put a brand new D500 Izusi in Restless Wave. It was purchased from and installed by Klassen Diesel, in Steveston BC. To my knowledge, this vessel was a Pelagic hull, and had had some damage to her keel by a previous owner, but otherwise was very seaworthy, and had been a mutually insured vessel for many years. My father and I had formed the numbered company and upon his death I left the boat in the company name. I, however, skippered the vessel from her purchase in 1984. I certainly hope this vessel is still afloat. This vessel was a fishy little boat." |
