In 1940-1942 under Henry Larsen made the first West to East Transit of the Northwest Passage (Vessel Circumnavigated North America.) In 1944 under Henry Larsen Canada made an East to West Transit of the Northwest Passage. Currently preserved as National Historic Site this vessel was owned by The City of Vancouver, BC. Designated as a National Historic Park by National Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada. Currently a museum ship on display at the Vancouver Maritime Museum, Vancouver BC.
