Anecdotes |
---|
In August 1966 this power cruiser owned by George Dobson, Duncan BC was destroyed by fire at Shoal Harbour BC. The vessel had just been fueled at the marina when this vessel exploded as the owner turned the ignition. The vessel was demolished, and the fuel dock operator was thrown into the water. A young child was badly burned in the incident. The boat was pushed away and flames on the fuel dock were extinguished before they reached solvents stored there. Fire fighters doused flames on the boat but not before this vessel was completely destroyed. |
