Anecdotes |
---|
This vessel was a Fast Passage 39 design by William Garden). Shawn Wright (Email to Nauticapedia 06/07/2023) states "Moonshine was the name assigned to the design, according to the archives, although I am not sure if this was by William Garden or possibly Danny Coverdale at Philbrooks who was also involved in the design. Later, a Fast Passage 39 built by Tollycraft named Mooneshine (yes, different spelling) was sailed by Francis Stokes in the 1982-1983 BOC Challenge round the world race and finished second. Our boat is Hull #5 from Philbrooks, and Halcyon Passage is the original name given her by Peter and Patricia Clark, who still appear on record as the owners until our transfer completes." |
