Anecdotes |

The current owner, William K Fay, is a professional engineer and lives in Gig Harbor WA USA. He writes, "This vessel is a marvelous boat. Mr. Pillings built fishing boats and it is reflected in her stout design. When we purchased her in Olympia at the Swanton Biat Works we had her hauled. Even the "experts" at Swanton thought this vessel was a big Chris Craft until it came out on the slings. Then they saw the massive keel and decided this vessel was like no Chris Craft that they had ever encounted. My wife bought her for me for my 60th birthday. I had never owned or been on a boat. I quickly learned and my wife and I have been cruising Puget Sound for the past two years. What an incredibly beautiful place to be able to go for 109 miles in salt water and never see the open ocean is just amazing. We return to Massachusetts in the spring (2016)." |
