Anecdotes
On October 25, 1979 this troller fishboat foundered off Pachena Bay BC in very strong winds. The patrol vessel Laurier took on David Hegstrom, the OIC of the Bamfield Lifeboat Station to offer local knowledge in the incident. This ship saved two crew members of the Daleson.
