On May 13, 1962 this fishboat owned and operated by Captain Olva Tahtinen, Madeira Park BC, sank at Dixon Entrance BC near Masset. This vessel was overwhelmed by heavy seas and sank quickly. The owner climbed the mast as the vessel sank but was picked up by another fishboat that was nearby. |
