Anecdotes
On June 26, 1977 this fishboat owned by Mervyn F. Campbell (MO), Sidney BC struck bottom and sank at Mier Point, in Goletas Channel Vancouver Island BC. Her crew of five evacuated in the dinghy and were rescued by the Ursa Major (a volunteer with the Provincial Emergency Program).
