On February 2, 1968 this vessel was stranded and sank in Kyuquot Sound BC. Under charter to Straits Towing Ltd. to haul logs this vessel had been under tow by the tug Lorne at the time of the incident. A towing socket on the wire line was defective and led to the wreck. |
