On August 24, 1928 this ferry, while under command of Captain Spracklin and owned by The Corporation of the City of North Vancouver, collided with the Canadian National Railway tug Canadian National No. 1 in Burrard Inlet BC. The tug was so deeply embeded in the hull of the ferry that it took 30 minutes to separate them. There were no injuries on either vessel. |
