In 1951 this vessel was launched by Miss Ann Katnich. On February 23, 1961 this seiner, owned by Captain Joseph 'Joe' Katnich, Vancouver BC and operated for B.C. Packers, foundered off Boat Bluff at the southern tip of Sarah Island and sank off Sarah Island BC. Lost were Captain Joseph Katnich, John Ivanich, Mario Katnich, Mario Cikes, Douglas Hill, Andrew Katnich, George Domijan and Anthony Fiamengo. |
