Her launching sponsor was Mrs. Gordon Draeseke, wife of Gordon Draeseke, Vice-President of Rayonier Canada (B.C.) Ltd. Gord Letkeman (Email to Nauticapedia 14/10/2019) stated "I last worked on her last November (November 23, 2018, to be exact), and this vessel had 2 Cat 3512 Main engines geared into one gearbox with a single screw in a kort nozzle out the back end at that time. As far as I know, she's had the twin Cats/single screw propulsion since this vessel was bought by Pacific Cachalot, so unless it's been changed out in the last year, this vesselstill has twin Cats." |
