Anecdotes
Ronald Ungless reports that "This vessel is a Spencer 35 sloop sailboat. 'Kimje’ was her name when launched in 1965. It was named after the two daughters of the original owners (Eastman family) - Kim and Jean. C.W.E (Bill) Locke, chief engineer of H.A. Simons, was the next owner. He changed the name to ‘Ole II’ because he enjoyed bull fights he told me. 'Ole I' was a dinghy that Bill had previously owned so when he purchased the Spencer it became Ole II."
