In 1928-1931 she was owned by Kanekichi Tanami, Vancouver BC Canada. In 1941 she was owned by the Ucluelet Fishing Co. Ltd., Ucluelet BC Canada. In 1942 she was appraised at $10,900. She was transferred to His Majesty the King and commissioned into the Royal Canadian Navy. In 1946 she was sold by the War Assets Corp.to R.C. Wyllie, Vancouver BC Canada. |

This vessel was used to carry fish for the Ucluelet Fishing Co. Ltd. (Ucluelet Fishermens' Co-operative) to Victoria, Vancouver and Seattle BC. In 1941 this vessel was seized from her Japanese owners by the Canadian Government. In 1942 her ownership transferred to His Majesty the King. In 1943-1945 this vessel was a tender to H.M.C.S. Chatham (Prince Rupert) for patrol purposes. On May 17, 1948 this vessel sank and was declared a total loss after this vessel foundered 1.5 miles south of Victoria Harbour BC. |
