Anecdotes |

This vessel was based in Fisheries District Number 2 (QCI and Skeena River). On July 26, 1930 this vessel exploded when her engine backfired in Masset Inlet BC two miles south of the Watun River Cannery, on Graham Island BC. Rescuers were beaten back by the intense heat of the flames. The fire developed so quickly the crew (Captain Smith and Engineer D. Woods) barely had time to get in the launch and row safely to the beach. |
