In 1954 she was commissioned by the Royal Canadian Navy as H.M.C.S. James Bay. In 1966 she was owned by Seattle WA owners and leased to the Greenpeace Foundation. In 1966 she was renamed as the James Bay. The minesweeper was sold in 1966 for use as an offshore oil exploration vessel. In 1966-1968 she was owned by Offshore Marine Services Ltd., Vancouver BC Canada. In 1968 she was owned by USA interests. |
