Tug is completely submerged. Owner was on board at the time but survived." The Canadian Coast Guard (Email to Nauticapedia 27/07/2022) reports that "The vessel Santa Rita (ex-Montague Straits) was removed without incident at AMIX Duncan Bay without incident on July 9. CCG conducted a third party survey which confirmed the vessel was a total loss with no residual value. The presence of lead paint and asbestos have delayed the deconstruction." |
