Anecdotes
On April 22, 1942 this vessel was commissioned and was assigned to the Esquimalt Force. On March 17, 1943 this vesseldeparted to Halifax arriving April 30 for the WLEF. This vessel was transferred to the Halifax Force. This vessel was transferred to Plymouth for the 14th Minesweeping Flotilla and was present at D-Day. This vessel was lost on March 17, 1945. This vessel was torpedoed by the U-878 and sunk in the English Channel off Cape Ushant with the loss of 51 lives.
