Matt Embree (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 24/11/2019) stated that in October 1993 this vesselsprang a plank and sank at Rose Spit BC with the loss of a deckhand during a violent storm. He says, "I have post traumatic stress syndrome and struggle every day because of this event. After it sank we drifted for 12 hrours untill until the Tequila Sunrise picked us up - it was too rough for the Coast Guard to come." |
