In 1941 this vessel was commissioned into the Royal Canadian Navy Fisherman's Reserve as HMCS Ehkoli. In 1942 this vessel was tender to H.M.C.S. Givenchy. In 1943 this vessel was tender to H.M.C.S. Givenchy II. In 1944 this vessel was tender to H.M.C.S. Givenchy. During the Second World War this vesselran aground on Macaulay Point, Esquimalt BC.
