Anecdotes |
---|
This vessel was crewed with Fishermen's Reserve personnel but was not a part of the Fishermen's Reserve. The RCN employed her as a harbour craft at Esquimalt BC. Robert Allan (Email to Nauticapedia 17/01/2020) states "The “Yorkhome” was designed by my Grandfather … I can recall well as a wee boy seeing pictures on the basement office wall of this very fast boat “in flight” . Clearly there is some muddling of the name in the various H&S articles and in the actual registry. I can vouch that the boat had the name “Yorkhome” as a single word on her hull, and that is used throughout our records. " |
