In 1938-45 she in service with the Royal Canadian Navy. She was initially based at Esquimalt BC for local patrol duty. In 1940 she was transferred with H.M.C.S. Nootka to Halifax NS Canada. She spent the war minesweeping with the Halifax Local Defence Force. On 15/01/1945 with H.M.C.S. Fundy she rescued the survivors of the US Liberty ship Martin Van Buren torpedoed off Halifax NS Canada. In 1946 she was sold as a tug based at Shanghai China. |
