Anecdotes
Scott Mayert (Email to Nauticapedia 03/06/2024) stated "I know she was broken up in around 2015 because I tracked her down at a marina up the Fraser River and saw her first hand. All that was left was the hull. Superstructure and mechanicals were all gone. Also, I owned the vessel much longer than you have listed, as I lived on her and chartered her for 10+ years. I will look for the registration when I get a chance, also, the vessel was registered to Ken Milne from Vancouver when I purchased her. She fell into some disrepair due to health reasons by 2011 and that is when I gifted her to Greg A. Thorlacius who towed her up the river and broke her apart. Coincidentally, the last place I moored her was at Matsumoto Ship Yards for the last 3 years of her life. I have a bunch of history on her, some may be made up stories and some true, but I spent an afternoon with the gentleman who restored her, fiberglassed the wooden hull and repowered her and added the flybridge in the late 1980s." Her Canadian Register has not been cancelled and she still shows up as 'afloat' in 2024.
