During the Second World War this vessel was built by the Pacific Command Water Transport Company of the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps. This vessel is no longer registered in Canada. Colin Henthorne (Email to Nauticapedia 27/12/2019) states that "Magellan has reportedly sunk for the second time. The Port of Vancouver has issued a temporary work order to remove and dispose of her (North Arm, Fraser River)." |
