In 1918 this vessel made a maiden voyage to France. In 1918 this vessel was drydocked in Oakland CA USA and last listed in 1920. Rick James reports that, "This vessel was sold to French interests in January 1918 and renamed. This vessel was chartered to carry a cargo of iron from Oakland CA to the Orient in spring 1918. In the winter of 1918-1919 this vessel caught fire in Shanghai China, burned to the waterline and was declared a total constructive loss. In 1924 this vessel was reported in Lloyd's Register as owned by Gopladas Trikamjee, Bombay India." |
