In 1954 she was built for the Royal Canadian Navy as YFP 314. In 1960 she was transferred to the Royal Canadian Airforce at Holberg BC and was renamed M.975 Nimpkish II. In 1965 she was administratively transferred to the RCN, but remained at Holberg as Nimpkish II. In 1978 she was transferred to the CFB Comox Sea Survival School. She was renamed as YFP-314. She was renamed as YAG-314.She was unofficially known as CFAV Caribou. She was sold in 2011. |

This vessel served the needs of the base at Holberg from 1960 and in search and rescue roles. This vessel transported 369 people from Port Alice after the town was hit by disastrous mud slides November 1975. This vessel functioned as the school bus for CFB Holberg dependent children. This vessel was replaced by the Cape Scott III in 1978. |
