Anecdotes |

Eric Arnold reports (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 24/10/2021) that "My dad and I brought her up from Trites gillnet pond around 1990. I spent years of my life rebuilding this old girl. I loaded a Suzuki jeep on deck using a dock crane. Tied all the lines back to a spot behind the wheelhouse, where I had an axe ready to cut her loose should the boat decide to go over. Unloaded the jeep at a bulkhead at high tide. The whole process went without a hitch. I can’t imagine doing anything like that these days; what was I thinking?" |
