In 1941 she was commissioned into the Royal Canadian Navy Fisherman's Reserve as H.M.C.S. Nenamook. In 1942 she was tender to H.M.C.S. Givenchy. In 1943 she was tender to H.M.C.S. Burrard. In 1944 she was tender to H.M.C.S. Burrard. In 1947 she was declared surplus and sold to British Columbia Packers Ltd., Vancouver BC Canada. |

Some sources suggest that this vessel became the Cape Palmerston in 1948 but according to source documents this is incorrect. Christopher J. Cole (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 19/06/2019) stated that "During my research it seems during the war this vessel had different paint schemes, disguises and names to go with." |
