Anecdotes |
---|
This vessel was a hydrographic survey launch attached to the Pender Barge and the Ocean Sciences Centre at Patricia Bay BC. Dr. Colin Levings states "This boat has been in Pender Harbour for about 5 years now - I noted in the past that this vessel was associated with the Canadian Hydrographic Service but with a bit of research on her new name "Ex Wind" confirmed it today- this vesselused to be the Wind as per your listing of builds from Argo Shipyard. The vessel is now run as a charter fishing boat . Unable to track down the name of the operator. Interesting shackle for towing on the stern." |
