Anecdotes
In 1890 this vessel was first registered in Victoria. On September 15, 1892 this vessel was severely damaged in a storm off Attu Island TA USA. In 1899 this vessel was withdrawn from the sealing trade and laid up at Victoria BC. This vessel was purchased by Japanese people who tied her up at the Sooke wharf and operated her as a saltery. Later this vessel was dismantled and her remains are on the bottom of Sooke Harbour under 'Palliser's wharf'.
