In 1891 she was owned by Gillson & Chadwick, Livepool UK. In 1899 she was owned by F. Laeisz & Co. (P Line), Hamburg Germany. In 1913 she was sold to F.A. Vinnen & Co., Bremen Germany. On August 31, 1914 this vessel arrived in Santa Roslia Mexico where she was interned as a beligerant. In 1920 she was awarded to France as a war reparation. In 1921 she was owned by the Robert Dollar Co., San Francisco CA USA. In 1925-1926 she was owned by Hecate Straits Towing Co. (B.L. In 1921 this vessel was laid up in Oakland Creek CA USA. This log carrier barge owned by B.L. Johnson, Vancouver BC was carrying a cargo of several million board feet of logs in tow of the tug Cape Scott. While under tow by Pacific Monarch this vesselwent ashore and broke her back. On February 3, 1927 this vessel was stranded at Takush Harbour, Smith Inlet QCI BC Canada. In March 1927 the workboat Skookum sank while engaged in wrecking the remains of the Drumrock when this vesselran on a deadhead. |
