Robert Critchley reports (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 23/09/2016) that "this vessel was built in 1961 by Sadakichi Yamanaka for Tak, as a combo gill net / live cod boat, she spent her early years collecting for B.C.P. with one of the Camerons from Pender Hbr running it. Had one of the first all fibreglass gill net drums, built by Ultra Lite Plastics, I still have that." |
