Nick Newell states (Email to Nauticapedia 08/10/2016) that "On the TV news Friday night they showed several boats aground in Sechelt one of them is the Gulfstream II laying on her port side with about five or six feet of her bottom showing." R.S. Crossan states that "The Gulfstream II survived running aground in Porpoise Bay, BC. This vessel is afloat at her private morage in Porpoise Bay, BC. Her current owner (2017) is Lili Gillis of Sechelt, BC." this vessel sank in Porpoise Bay on September 7th, 2018.
