Anecdotes
The Canada List of Shipping (1977-1978) states that Gareth Jones was the original owner. However. Eric J. Braden (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 25/04/2019) states that "I believe John Margetis was the original owner. At the time it was John Margetis who seemed to be the owner as he was overseeing the construction. The boat was named for the Greek island where his parents were from. Keythera (Kythira) Greece." Mergetis actually assumed ownership from Gareth Jones.
