Anecdotes
In 2000 the vessel suffered a broken main engine crankshaft during a log tow, but was otherwise in good condition. The new owners plan to replace the broken crankshaft as well as install a new boiler and generator. Vessel will be completely refurbished with new galley and sleeping quarters and converted to a private yacht. John Dolmage reports (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 07/12/2016) that ``this vessel was built with the same 6 cylinder Union as the Ivanhoe had in her but it was turbo charged and was supposed to produce 200 more horse power (830hp.) Repowered in 1970 with a 399 Cat (1100 hp.) and had a fixed nozzle installed at that time."
