Tim Harvey (Email to Nauticapedia 23/05/2022) stated "the Northern Freedom built in 1984. Still in service. I am the current owner. It was designed by Pete Lazier, then owned for 35 years by my father. The photo is from about 1986. The boat has travelled from Lund to Prince Rupert a couple of dozen times, and Alaska, Haida Gwaii, etc on multiple occasions. Topped out at 42 knots. I remember its original engine was a Volvo Penta, now it's a Mercruiser, but I'm not too sure what came in between. " |
