Significance of Name Arrow Park is situated at “The Narrows,” a narrow channel which separates Upper and Lower Arrow Lakes.
 
Anecdotes
This vessel was originally pushed by the tug Deer Park. This vessel started on the Arrow Lakes carrying mining ore for three years until the mine played out. After this vessel was rebuilt this vesselprovided a ferry crossing between Nakusp and Arrowhead (replacing the service formerly provided by the Minto, laid up in 1952.)
