Bob Fiorello (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 04/08/2022) stated "1953-54 Manly built a tug called Pogo which became the Firmac, used by the Canadian White Pine to check & map the booming grounds. This vessel had a 120 hp Chrysler imperial gas engine."
