Anecdotes |
---|
This vessel operated on the Lesser Slave Lake and Lesser Slave River. Neil Gower (Email to Nauticapedia 11/11/2024) stated "In 1904-1905 she was owned by the Northern Transportation Company." might be in error unless Northern Transportation Company was a partnership of eg Cornwall and Woods. Secondly, Legal documents I have dated January 1908 and registered with the Alberta govt in 1909 show that James K Cornwall and James H Woods owned the vessel and sold it to NTCL in return for shares in that company. The same is the case with Northern Light, except it was owned by Cornwall and Charles Barber, a steamship captain." |
