Anecdotes
Columbia River Fishing Boat. Leithbridge was the detachment boat at Aklavik. In 1933 this vessel was transferred to Coppermine and renamed Herschel. In the summer of 1943, while engaged on a patrol in the vicinity of Reid Island, this vessel was damaged beyond repair by drifting on a rocky ledge during the course of a gale. Hull sold 01 May 1945.
