Columbia River Fishing Boat. Leithbridge was the detachment boat at Aklavik. In 1933 this vessel was transferred to Coppermine and renamed Herschel. In the summer of 1943, while engaged on a patrol in the vicinity of Reid Island, this vessel was damaged beyond repair by drifting on a rocky ledge during the course of a gale. Hull sold 01 May 1945. |
