Vessels Built by the Hirano Boat Works

W. Fred Hirano opened a Boat Works in Vernon BC during his internment during the Second World War. In 1949 he returned to the West Coast and opened a Boat Yard at the Great Northern Cannery in West Vancouver BC with his brothers Joe and Seiji. He remained in business until 1957.
